With the assistance of aliens and a talking rover, Kuu must use his brains to save Putt-Putt from being stranded in deep space. Putt-Putt and Pep are rocketed to the moon and have to find items to help them get back to Earth. After a random butterfly lands on a spaceship lever, Pep chases after it, accidentally setting off the rocket. The story begins innocently enough with Putt-Putt, a sentient automobile, and his dog, Pep, visiting the local fireworks factory. To get home, they have to build a rocket, but first they must find all the parts. Creatively, Putt-Putt's HUD is his dashboard, with all the items being stored on shelves built in him. What if you landed in a strange place and had to get home That’s the challenge for Putt-Putt and his friend Rover, a lonely little lunar terrain vehicle left behind by the astronauts. Since the Putt-Putt series is made for a younger audience, the game was very short and featured simple and easy to figure out puzzles. Despite this, it ended up becoming a summer tradition for Kuu to play Humongous Entertainment games, with three more Putt-Putt games being turned into let's plays. In fact, this series itself was meant as "filler", until Kuu was able to record more Dark Cloud 2 videos. The series started two years after Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise, which was originally meant to be a one-off special series. Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is a children's point and click adventure game, and the first of the Putt-Putt games to be played on the channel. It was the official beginning of a tradition on Kuu's channel, where each summer he'd play a game developed by Humongous Entertainment.
